The CFPB recently made changes to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act that will make it mandatory to post updated compliance signage in your financial institution.  This is an expansive change to the current HMDA guidelines and requires adherence to new reporting and recordkeeping rules.  Sections 1003.5(b), (c), and (e) of Regulation C (12 CFR §1003.5) require Financial Institutions (as defined by HMDA) to display updated signage in the lobby of its (1) home office; and (2) each branch located in each MSA and Metropolitan District, AND to provide a written notice to the public upon request.  Please be aware of these changes that take effect January 1, 2018.
