These data show the geographic distribution of loans and applications, as well as information regarding applicants' and borrowers' ethnicity, race, sex, age, income, and loan approval and denial activity. HMDA data can be accessed through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau website at www.consumerfinance.gov/hmda. Data for many other financial institutions are also available through this resource.
