There are several components to the updated regulation:
Cash Deposits
Currency deposit bags must:- Be tamper evident
- Be made of clear plastic
- Have a thickness of a least 5-mil
- Be limited to 16 bundles

Coin Handling
Coin deposits in standard canvas bags must:- Have a color coded shipping tag
- State the denomination, dollar amount, institution name & routing number on the tag
- Be secured with a tamper-evident seal

Coin deposits in plastic bags must:- Possess a tamper-evident seal
- Have a reinforced handle that withstands a 100+ lb test load
- Have a minimum thickness of 6.5-mil
- Be labeled with color-coded denomination label in the bottom right corner
